The silence of trees.

By letting go, it all gets done. — Lao Tzu

In Autumn, trees let go of their leaves.

Without questioning, without attachment, without a sense of loss.

In this letting go, they fall into silence for a while. And from this silence, they grow new leaves.

When a tree becomes silent, it grows.

Without letting go, how can we sink deeply into rest? Without becoming silent, how can we grow?

Resting in the peace of this silence, we are not dying, we are so fully alive, nourished, and growing.

Be silent.
